| Please enjoy Michael’s work! Michael Premny is a self-taught artist who draws his inspiration from his love of life, nature and world experiences. He began painting after a trip to Carmel By The Sea in Monterey County, CA. Where he was overwhelmed and taken back by the beauty of the ocean, white sand and brisk salt air. Although Michael’s painting began as form of relaxation and a way to release tension following long days spent in financing it has blossomed into an undeniable passion and new career. “My paintings come from a place within. Carmel Bay’s bright aqua marine water and brilliant white sands inspire me. As do the deep blues and cerulean of the warm waters surrounding the Cayman Islands. I use bright oranges, rich reds and warm yellows like the New England springtime.” Michael is presently a resident of San Francisco.
