| About the landscapes:
In my work I want to create a place that speaks to the subtle, remote, obscure, and elusive elements of the landscape which in turn connect to the definite and familiar aspects of it. The pieces include a certain amount of unease, the uncomfortable quality of the unknown intermingling with the comfort of the known. I want to, in a soft way, make spaces that leave the edges slightly undefined, leaving room for other associations, while reaching a connection to a place we’ve all seen whether real, from a memory, or a place that only exists within us.
