| For me, photography has been a vehicle for me to express to others my feelings, my emotions, and I will always do that whether I shoot film or digital. People get so caught up in the latest equiptment that they don't realize these are just tools that help you get to where you were already headed. Whichever medium I choose, the resulting prints will be the same, ME! |
| Jazz Photography Show Announcing a great Jazz photography exhibition being held during the month of April in the Kimmel Center. Please click the link and watch the video for all of the details. | | Going Home Some people need to go home just to be humbled. | | Mass Exodus The Philadelphia Jazz scene. | | Working for free A lot of folks invite me to events and ask forthe photos the next day or e-mail me when I put them on my web site asking how they can copy them and such. If my work is worthy of copying, why don't I get any job offers? I'm sure you musicians don't like playing for FREE. If someone finds this post offensive, don't worry, I'm not talking about you, because if you do, maybe you should start playing every event you go to for free. | | Beat The Heat If you haven't already been aware, this summer is truely a sizzler. With temperatures reaching the high 90's and well into the 100's, people are trying to deal with this heat the best they can, whether that's getting some water ice and finding a nice shady tree, taking a plunge in the pool, or just staying indoors with the air conditioner, it's what's on the menu. |
