"It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition. My discovery was the result of musical perception." - Albert Einstein My latest art project is Silk Painting with dyes. It incorporates several art techniques I love. I especially like silk painting for its watercolor feel and effects, and the stained glass look. In the near future will also be making some silk screened t shirts and experimenting with silk screening on silk. Over the years I've experimented with different art mediums; I have a B.A. in art emphasizing Sculpture. I almost majored in oil painting but was allergic to the oil paints. After my degree I taught English &Art in High School and over the years migrated towards mediums that involve fabric, including tye-dye, Batik, silk-screen printing, mono printing (Marbling), and hand painted t-shirts. My influence is my Grandmother while growing up. She loved fabric and was an excellent seamstress and was always sewing something for the girls in the...

Next Week
The Tulalip is nice, beautiful landscaping etc. Should be way busier next week. Sold a few things and got new orders. Will try to do Sunday Market at Fremont also. Was interviewed by the tribal newspaper and picture taken.
Saturday Market Report out
It wasn't busy, but was interviewed by tribal newspaper, and also got 2 future orders. Sold a painting, a canvas tote and a t-shirt also. Next week should be busier, Fremont market on Sunday might try that!
A woman's work is never done, especially ART!
Forcing myself to do art every day. Show starts June 25th for 10 Saturdays.
Unclad opening Day Saturday March 13
500 people showed up throughout the day...It was really fun and the show is good...next year planning already to do some paintings.
