| I am a self-taught artist and have been painting since 2006. I am inspired by both Asian and Western art. I use acrylic medium and combine bold colours, with calligraphy, gold and pattern. My paintings celebrate and unite the traditional art techniques of the east and west.
To me art is a reflection of ourselves, we see in it the meaning relevant to where our lives have been and the direction we are going. My art is a reflection of my life that is influenced by our National parks, the diversity if NZ people and my time living and travelling throughout Asia. I have exhibited and sold my artworks in both group and solo exhibitions in Wellington and have collections in NZ, Japan, Australia &the UK. ART COMMISSIONS welcome - Please contact me to discuss details of painting required i.e. concept, image and size specifics
