| It seems silly to write about when I started painting, because I don't remember a time when I haven't. Pastels and pencils are my favorite tools - because they are easily available and allow me to draw and paint wherever and whenever I want. The majority of my landscapes are inspired by everyday scenes. I am influenced by the people and things around me. There is beauty all around us - but we tend not to see it because we are racing home from work or in such a hurry that forget to look. |

I'm new to blogging - but the challenge of getting this site up and running seems like a good subject. My first challenge was finding a phot of myself that didn't make me cringe.
