| | Paul Stolte is a self-taught sculptor and lifelong dabbler in all that is creative. He spent 30 years in corporate America before finally giving in to his strong innate desire to make art his profession. The former Chicagoan moved to Northern California in 1985 and to San Diego in 1995. His artistic journey has taken him from painting to mosaics, to ceramic and wire sculpture. He could never resist the urge to convert trash to treasure! Paul’s attraction to the human face and figure are evident in his work....
