As a child, growing up in upstate New York, my family would travel past corning quite frequently. We would always stop and watch the glassblowers. I didn't decide then to become one, but as I was looking into colleges and their art programs I discovered one with a glass department. I attended Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY(1996-2000), studying under artists such as Erik Halvorson, Terry Slade and Roberta Griffith.
