| My painting and photography use common elements from daily life to underscore the beauty in things that often go unnoticed. My vision frames objects in a way that often makes people say:" Wow! I never noticed that before, and I pass it every day!"
My interest in the visual must have started at a young age with much time spent in bed nursing colds. There were no materials to pursue this kind of interest during the Siberian and Asian odyssey of WWII, but it must have simmered until later when my family arrived in the U.S. and I went to a school that focused on the artistic in NYC. I was accepted to Cooper Union's school of art, and now as an older more mature person am able to continue to pursue my vision by painting, writing, and photographing.
