 | | With my love of the old Dutch Masters in mind, I set up my still lifes using the chiaroscuro style of dramatic light with dark shadows in order to create the illusion of three-dimensional solid forms.

 | | Landscapes and local scenes are an opportunity to bring in a more diverse palette of colors and a more playful, less structured style of painting.
