I began painting in 1994 when I went through a series of traumatic events. Art became my way to express my feelings. I am self-taught and use whatever medium best utilizes the thought or feeling I want to convey. My paintings are the journal of my life. My style is mostly abstract. My work speaks of my perceptions of the world or reflects upon my experiences. It's been a long, difficult journey; but I share it now to let others know that it's possible to overcome difficult times. Now, I love my life. I never gave up. I took risks.
