| | My oil paintings, prints and watercolors are about sea changes and numinous experience. Recently, my paintings allude to an underwater landscape and the implications of being underwater. There is a peaceful tension in these submerged figures because they are detached from the world and removed from the influence of gravity. Blue is a clear signifier of the water, but in some of the pieces the shapes of the figures in their weightless poses indicate water-ness. There is a remnant of the world...
