 | | My concentration is primarily about the experience of warmth. Through these eight pieces, I have tried to answer the question, “What brings warmth?”, in a personal, yet universal way. This portfolio explores the relation between physical temperature and mental warmth, from the literal items of insulation to the intimate warm feelings in a particular situation. |
 | | This concentration is a reflection of my thoughts during and after my visit to India in the summer of 2010. My Identity as an Indian woman, and my relationship with my aunt is the majority of the subject matter. I feel a sense of restriction with Indian tradition and culture, but I also find it beautiful and meaningful. |
