| I'm a "paint sculptor" working most frequently with pastels, oil pastels, and, of course, my hands. I was once instructed to resist blending with my fingers, but I've learned to make amends with myself and trust my own fingers.
My inspiration comes from human faces, their eyes, their figures, and the way they move and communicate with the world around them. Then, of course, I twist, bind, stretch, and distort them until they become my own.
