Susan Salazar 
About the Artist: San Diego native Susan Salazar, is a Colored Pencil Artist, a member of Spanish Village Art Center (SVAC), and partner in Studio 40 located in Spanish Village Art Center, Balboa Park, San Diego, California. In addition, Susan is a member of Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA) and local District Chapter 202 (DC 202), Foothills Art Association (FAA), San Diego Art Institute (SDAI) and San Diego Water Color Society (SDWS). She was past Vice-President 2007-2008 of DC 202. Susan works in colored pencil, graphite pencil, gouache, watercolor and on occasion instant coffee. She enjoys drawing portraits and figures, although wildlife and still life items appear in her work. Art has always been important in this artist's life, and recently, she has been working full-time developing her career in art. Seeking to refine her natural art talent by studying with several instructors, including: Marilyn Grame, Debra Babylon, Diane Weintraub and Maidie Weisbarth. And, workshop...
