I grew up in a home that loved and respected art. As a child, I was schooled in many different medias including painting, drawing, wood carving, clay sculpture and various textile-type artwork. I also loved music and played piano and guitar. I loved to create anything and saw it as a fun thing to do to express how I was feeling.
