About

Tate Patrick Braeckel
Art is every part of me, is the one natural skill I can claim to at least partially understand and choose to engage in. Through art the world can be seen or heard or interpretted in ways that most people might never consider in everyday life. Art changes perception, changes consciousness, changes the size and depth and complicated nature of the world around us. My training includes numerous university and extra-curricular art classes I attended in Colorado while I attained my undergradute degree in history. I learn from individual experience, as most do, and depend on the lessons and techniques of those artists I wish to emulate the most. I am most inspired by human emotion, how it can be expressed subtly or magnificently and never be misconstrued. The polarity of emotion also inspires me; how powerful love and hate, pain and joy, depression and ellation shine through the false world we've created for ourselves, no matter how hard we try to mask them.
