| Viji Reddy was born and educated in Hyderabad, India. She graduated cum laude in painting and ceramics from City University of New York at Brooklyn College and went on to study at Art Students League in New York.
Viji's art traces a long-term dedication to self-realization. Attracted to philosophy, intrigued by its own profundity, Viji has discovered diverse schools of thought, Asian and Western, continuously evolving as an artist over the past two decades.
In 1996, she founded an organization that contributed modestly to the infrastructure of artisans in India, who defiantly brave the indifference and lack of patronage to persist in working with their hands.
Driven by her creativity, Viji has excelled as a ceramist, designer, entrepreneur and painter. Wondrous and warm-hearted, Viji Reddy is a high achiever but blessed with a soul as beautiful as her demenour.
