| 30 yrs. experience creating custom portraits, jewelry, and murals. Taught all areas of art ,8 yrs., Waukegan High School. Taught art 3 yrs.in Summer School at Evanston Township High School. Taught Jewelry Design in adult continuing ed., 5 yrs. Currently getting a Masters in Special Education, and working at a therapuetic day school. Northeastern Ill. University, Certification Sec. Art Ed. Columbia College, Childrens Book Illustration. American Academy of Art, Illustration and Life Drawing. SIU-Carbondale majored in Drawing and Painting. Influenced by 17th and 18th Century Dutch Masters; (especially Vermeer), the photo-realist movement, and the effects of light, value, and color.
