Greetings all, I am so inspired! I am very excited about the new pieces I intend to make I have some really good ideas for my next painting, and I have been working diligently to finish "Anguish Redemption" I have changed the name a few times but I think I am sticking with this one, I have been working on it since last year I probably would have finished by now if it were more commercial or less complex or maybe didn't require so much work and inspiration to get it done, but once more I have chosen to detail everything to visual perfection and I'm finally moving forward with the finishing touches to my latest master piece. I look forward to the thought provoking comments that will be made about this one. I will be looking to exhibit after I finish the full series. I am pleased to have found inspiration again it was gone for a while... I feel like the cliche "moody artist" lol...
I recently visited a clothing store and there was a section for art right next to the dressing rooms as I stood there I noticed multiple consumers stopping to look at this one large canvas painting it was a flower... the colors were cliche and technique or style seemed so juvenile, I was astonished surely it was the size the colors and that the flower is unisex right?... no one purchased it but they did check the price. I would love to reach a buying audience of that size but my art can not be handled so miscellaneously. My works obviously demand a different audience of art lovers that have a more eccentric taste for luxury. I am debating on becoming more commercial to market people "that like paintings of flowers"... Until then I am looking forward to a music series that is going to be to fabulous, and few other ideas I have in my head for some visual enjoyment. Stay tuned This year has already started on a very positive note and I have made some positive changes to keep inspiration around like my new "BFF" or an old cousin... Greetings, and Happy New Year I haven't Blogged in a bit but I'm back and this New Year has been such a blessing, ending old things starting new ideas collaborating with new people is only the beginning. Right now I am exhibiting at the VLA Theater in here in Killeen Texas, The art will be on display til the first week of March. This is my first time having so many pieces in one gallery, I have some of old and new art displayed, some of my wood masks are even displayed which is a gallery first for me. This exhibit was the first that I had to hang my own art. (Special Thanks to Phetote) The VLA is a community Gallery there were some restrictions and liberties I was introduced to that I had not encountered before. I was blessed to collaborate with them it was a learning experience and I look forward to doing it again soon now that I know the guide lines. (Special Thanks to Eric Shephard) I had my first news interview of the year at the reception 2/3/12 and I was surprised at just how down to earth the reporter was and I was pleased at her follow up it made the experience enjoyable. (Special Thanks Krista Madkins) I have been working on some new ideas with my art I have a piece I have been working on for some time now that I think is really powerful and I look forward to getting feedback on it. I am have been creating logos as well and I look forward to enhancing my skills as a "Graphic Artist" and evolving as a whole. Till next time Be Blessed and Be a Blessing. |

It's June and I have really been relaxing since graduation, I am so glad school is over and I can exhale....aaaaahhhhh I don't miss the drive to Austin, but I am blessed to have made it through that endeavor earned my degree. I I am have scheduled an exhibit at the VLA (Vive Les Arts Theatre - 3401 South W.S. Young Drive - Killeen, TX 76542) for January and February of 2012, I am really looking forward to this exhibit because I am going to show some of my digital art and wood masks for the first time as well as canvas YaY! I am currently working on some new pieces and looking into some more exhibits before the end of the year and even modeling as an unexpected renewed side venture. I am Blessed. Greetings all, I am pleased to announce that I finished my last class with a 96% and although I could have done better I am pleased with my efforts. I am enjoying "Spring Break" with my Princess this week and enjoying the time, one week away from my graduation and I feeling Blessed! Praise God. I'm Thankful to everyone that supported me through my college journey, "Knowledge is Power" so I'm sure this is only the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. I have definitely learned from the experience.A few of the classes were very important and informative, Some were not... the hands on aspect of it was very helpful... I have drafted... but I did not use any of the programs that I learned in school, it was a little disappointing but an opportunity none the less... My next chapter will be more productive then the last, Finally I can almost turn the page... |

Greetings, and Happy New Year! My holidays were Blessed I was surrounded by love, I have so much to look forward to this year. I am just months away from graduation and am looking forward to starting a career in my field and showing a Larger return on all this potential God deposited in me. I am currently working on a painting, and I am excited to see what the end result will be, I am searching for some key pieces to add to it to make it "POP" of course it's not finished until it's FABULOUS. I see my art evolving and I am looking forward to expanding on locations for exhibits. I am limitless. Its going to be a great year ("Already") a "Ketu'rah Year" Be Productive and Blessed! |
