Juror's Statement:
I am pleased to have been asked to jury the 2011 RAG show. There were over 150 submissions and my job was to choose only 75 of those to be juried in. It was not easy. It will be even more difficult to decide which ones receive awards. I hope you understand that not only must the art that is chosen stand on its own, but the juror has to look at the big picture and include examples of various styles, as well as work from each medium. This ensures that exhibition will be not only high quality but also well rounded. That means that some really good work might not be included. I congratulate everyone who submitted these wonderful works of art and I look forward to seeing all of you at the reception for the 2011 RAG juried show. ~ Pat Kelly
