I have no idea how this started but for some reason (or perhaps no reason) Airstream trailer owners are enamored with the Pink Flamingo as a mascot. So my friend came to me and requested a Flamingo that was "edgy". Well we started working on Flemming the Funky Flamingo. After a few prototypes here is the finished product. But the little guy (or girl, I don't know how to sex flamingos) is lonely! I guess he will have to have a friend.
Ideas and inspiration can come for everywhere, not just inside some artist's head. Since I often do commissions for all sorts of things I wanted to see some ideas from visitors to my website. If your inspiration resonates perhaps I can create something for the "world" to see. At the very least we can have some sort of connection beyond the window in front or our faces.
