Cort Dunnington is a glass artist based out of Davis, CA. He was first introduced to glassblowing while working as a swing dance instructor in Sacramento , CA, and has had a passion for glass ever since. He began learning his craft as an apprentice with local glass artist Shannon Morgan. He continues to learn through creative experimentation and exploration of the medium's form, properties and boundaries. As an artist, Cort works to embody the traits he has come to respect in the jazz legends of the past: impeccable technique, creativity, improvisation, and a fluid rhythm as a foundation for it all.
