I have recently opened an account at ArtWanted.com where I have so far uploaded four of my paintings... for the moment I am concentrating mostly on pastels.

The one I uploaded yesterday - Sleeping Tiger -  was very well received. It attracted  enough good comments to earn me a place in the Top Ten report in the fine art category. The little token trophy pictured above was placed in my profile.

It really is nice and very encouraging to be appreciated, but...  There's always a but isn't there.  My but is that after reaching a certain level it's as if now I have to excel all the time. I know that is not always possible but I still feel it places a certain amount of pressure on me - when really all I want to do is have a good time painting no matter the end result.

Still I am happy my art was well received on a very big site like ArtWanted is.... it is a good feeling.
