Hello. My name is Sally L Fulton and I am a
painter. I paint with both oils and
pastels, capturing the beauty of nature.
Whether it is a rose from my garden, the light shimmering on the
Colorado River, or onions in an iron skillet, it is the play of light upon
various forms and color that most interests me. I learned to paint classically with layers of
glazing as did the painters of the Italian Renaissance and have been inspired
by the impressionistic use of thick paint applied a la prima. I use both techniques in my painting
depending upon my intention for the piece. I have an emotional connection to each of my pieces and am honored if you share that emotion with me. Thank you for visiting my site.
