On a cold, damp fall day in Asheville, a young accordion player sent his music into an empty street.  Rushing from one warm place to another, I barely captured his image.  Later, it began to haunt me and reminded me to slow down and savor the moment.  In the background is Thomas Wolfe's home and the famous Asheville "Flat Iron" and, in the foreground, Wolfe’s famous admonition that “You can’t go home again,” reminding us that once a moment is gone, it will never come back again.

This digital painting is printed on metal using a dye infusing technique that is almost magical in capturing the brilliance and luminescence of its color.  When hung away from direct sunlight it will be an heirloom piece that can be handed down for generations.  It can be easily cleaned with a soft cloth.

It is float-mounted 1/2" from the wall for a clean, contemporary look.
