Bio of Denise Andrews

Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, I left for Washington State at the age of 21 and had been blessed to live on an island off Washington State which is Orcas Island in the San Juans. This is where I learned to appreciate the beauty of this world. With a lifetime of family and friends photo’s I turned my attention to the beauty around me on Orcas. I owned and operated a a salon called “Shear Design Styling Salon Tanning Studio and Boutique” and was also a party and wedding Deejay. I learned to wear many hats on the island and my main passion was photography where I learned some desktop publishing programs. I started selling my photos as greeting cards and calendars out of my salon. Throughout my life I would travel searching for a better place and had always had my camera as my best friend and decided to put my photos into visions of my experience’s. I returned to Cleveland where my mom and dad are and began featuring my photos in galleries around town. My website is a unique website on Photages of Ohio scenes and of the San Juan Islands.
