My life has always been about overcoming obstacles while
understanding the underlying processes. A Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry
gave me the opportunity to manipulate a finite set of variables to a unique
end. Yet, it was still incomplete. After spending 2 years editing video, I discovered what was
missing. I was only changing, I was not creating. So I went back to school and in 2006 completed a Masters Degree in Painting/Photography. Painting has been a vital way to finally create the
images of my mind’s eye. By capturing an image, I am able to project the way I
see the world in a way that can’t be explained by mere words. I am also given
the freedom to draw on my previous education to create works that are both
technical and have a sense of imagination.
