While learning to cope with some physical disabilities, I have begun to celebrate my life by using my creative talents to make one of a kind jewelry. I use Sterling Silver, Copper, Brass, Gold Semi Precious, Precious Stones and Beads. Occasionally I will incorporate found objects and smooth river stones as well! It is something that has given me that ability to cope with my physical pain and to feel that I can create something that people will enjoy to enhance their lives.
I believe that if we are to be our best selves, we must strive to find work and play that is pleasing to our souls. I hope that my jewelry will give the wearer a sence of peace and appreciation for the art and a joyful feeling when they wear it.
I have studied silversmithing for 8 years and was always crafting in one medium or another all my life. My mother encouraged me to pursue my passion and to design from the heart! It gives me great pleasure to craft from hand something that a person will enjoy and cherish for a long time to come. Something that will bring them peace and happiness everytime they put it on.
A portion of the income I make from my jewelry sales is sent to the American Cancer Society to further research and help in finding a cure for Cancer (especially Pancreatic Cancer which took the wonderful life of my mother Hattie Thomason). I hope you will enjoy browsing the site and if I can answer any questions, please feel free to email me or call me. I am available for custom creations to fit your individual needs and tastes whether it be for yourself or for someone else. Enjoy. "It is impossible to appreciate the beauty of the sunrise without first having waited through the darkness." (a gift of wisdom from my mom) Blessings...
