Art is the one great love of my life; it has been with me for as long as i can remember.  To me, painting is like music in colour, set on canvas to be shared with as many people as possible. 

My art stems from somewhere inside; it is simple yet complex.  It will take you on an exploration of colour and emotion and their relationship with one another.  Oils and acrylics allow me to take this relationship to the next level, giving them a visual and tangible life of their own; to be seen as well as felt.  The paintings are designed to make the viewer think and feel and to have their own journey through interpretation.  Each work is an experience unique to the individual who views it...to be mulled over, marveled at, and remembered as an experience of the heart and mind.

My current work has been less dark, a little more serene, and has been an exploration of every emotion in between.  Earlier works were darker, mournful, and this is seen in the darker colours used; from this has evolved works that are calmer, more serene in their colour and flow.  I have recently also been trying to broaden my works with some works of landscapes, something i have been enjoying as a break away from the abstract.
