About the Artisan:

Barbara Ann was raised in rural area of Northern New Mexico. She is primarily of Italian descent, but was raised by a Spanish family.  She attended grade school at Immaculate Conception School, high school graduate from Robertson High School, and graduate from New Mexico Highlands University with a B.A. in Business Administration.  All schools located in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Barbara's inspiration and passion for the Spanish, Mexican, and Native American cultures from the "Land of Enchantment" stems from her New Mexican upbringing. Her inspiration is not limited to New Mexico, however, but extends to Arizona, California, Colorado and Mexico.

Additionally, Barbara has much love and respect for the land and its "enchanting" sunrises and sunsets. This inspiration is also reflected in her work.
