I enjoy the highly decorative, sometimes with whimsy as in my flamingos, and sometimes with the different constraints as required by the shape of the stars. I ocassionally even paint mailboxes or build mosaic stepping stones. I start with two coats of primer, paint, and then finish with two coats of varnish to make my stars and flamingos weather resistant, able to grace your yard through rain or shine. I generally make my flamingos to order, requiring one to two weeks to make. The stars are usually one of a kind in four sizes 5", 8", 12", or 24".
