A scientist by education (B.S. in Biomedical Sciences), I am fascinated by the workings and variations of the human body. I am also interested in the mortality and fragility of the human form, disease, and the relationship between spiritual and physical states of ecstasy.

    I work mainly in acrylics, but dabble in watercolors and digital art as well. I am inspired/influenced by street/urban artists such as Banksy, Justin Bua, and Koralie, tattoo artists such as Grime, Sailor Jerry, Rollo, and Scott Harrison, and a score of other artists, among them Sylvia Ji, Matt Leines, Ron English, David Choe, Josh Petkar, David Stoupakis, Egon Schiele, Francis Bacon, Lucien Freud, Basquiat, and Albrecht Durer.
