It is no secret to those who know me well that I have an avid curiosity about cemeteries in general and unusual headstones and statuary in particular. I have had the opportunity to walk graveyards, sacred sites and cemeteries here and abroad to photograph and experience the serene stillness and unearthly solitude that they afford the visitor.
