Shevry Lassiter enjoys creating photos that say “it’s all marvelous!” Shevry is a life long photography student and also the Founder/CEO of Sure Shot Photography. She passionately enjoys photographing city life, church and event photography along with weddings, portraits and product photography. Shevry is a native Washingtonian, a wife, a mother and a grandmother. She is a member of the Exposure Group in Washington, DC.

The photo that inspired Shevry and still speaks to thousands today is the one captured of Coretta Scott-King with her baby girl on her lap at the homegoing service of her husband, The Honorable Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The photographer might not have been well known at that time, but that photo will always be etched in the mind of the viewer. Shevry seeks to capture the moment that will forever be etched in the mind of her client.
