|  | | Lanier Scene, Oil, 12" x 12" | | | | | A little study from last year; we were at Lake Lanier (here in North Georgia) and the kids were fishing with their dad until after sunset, while I snapped photos to paint from. This was at a point in the evening when the color in the sky had started to fade and the lapping of the water and cry of the birds was becoming more of an impression than the dissipating clouds.
