Plum Still Life, Oil
Plum Still Life, Oil

I loved loved loved painting the plastic produce wrapper in this little oil. Sold it a couple of years ago, it was a little one. 8" x 8", or something, but a delight to paint. There's nothing quite like the translucent luminous glow of a ripe but taut plum, especially one which varies from yellow all the way through reds, purples and blacks. Wow, with even a touch of pale bluish/whitish frost on it. Aboslutely delightful, I hope you can see my love.
