I was working on the rooftop of a building across the East river from Downtown NYC. Ground Zero. It was a beautiful September morning, unusually clear and warm. I had just finished shooting a high resolution panorama of the NYC skyline from Governor's Island to the Empire State Building. I heard the sound of a jet, it was abnormally loud, almost screaming...this is what I saw, and did.
