I love to paint outdoors. Spring and fall are the very best times of year for plein aire painters. There is so much color and so little time. Yesterday I painted at Bob Tanner's home on the banks of the Olentangy River south of Delaware. There were about 20 of us painting in various spots around the property. It was a glorious day. The morning light created long shadows and made the white bark of the old sycamore pop against the blue sky. It was a morning made for artists and for anyone else with an eye for nature's canvases.

|I love the ambience in this painting between the cool and warm colors. It makes me want to walk into the setting you have created - very nice!|
