| Growing up in the midwest on a farm gave me an appreciation for the simple beauty revealed in the landscape and people surrounding me. At a young age, I was drawn to expressing myself visually. I spent a lot of time outside immersed in the color and nature surrounding me. My training was in the classical/ academic style with an emphasis in Art History at Grace College in Indiana. I continue to enjoy learning new techniques and challenging myself in the company of other artists.
I worked for seven years as a muralist in both residential and commercial arenas. I enjoy teaching classes and donating my work to charities. My work has been involved in Juried and non Juried shows alike. I have a great group of creative friends that ignite my view of life. I'm involved with the Plein Aire group of Ohio, The Worthington Area Art league, and the Ohio Art league.
I work out of my studio in Worthington, Ohio where I live with my husband of 28 years and our two children.
