One of the very cool opportunities Trina had while on the road was the opportunity to meet and be a human canvas for Alexa Meade!  Images will be released in the next couple of weeks.  Stay tuned for more collaborations between these two artists!

Trina Merry will be joining Australian band "The Red Paintings" on their FUTURELESS TOUR thru the Southwest U.S. She has confirmed performances for May 30- April 5th.

Trina Merry is currently in New Orleans, LA apprenticing under the world famous bodypainter Craig Tracy.  She is delving further into the academic side of bodypaint, assisting on fine art bodypaint commissions, events & work for the gallery.  She will also be making work that Craig will be assisting her on as a nice token of the time spent in New Orleans.

 

Trina has assisted Craig Tracy on two paintings thus far- "Rocket" and an ad for the City of Vegas that is currently on pg 2 & 3 of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.  You can see the behind the scenes video here.

 

Trina worked very hard alongside JAM Photos & hairstylist/assistant Sandra Moreno to complete the San Francisco series (which is now up in "Artwork").  Prints are available for purchase. 

Trina also created some mind-blowing new work for editorials and competitions!  Stay tune for the release of these images! =)

Trina Merry assisted Wild Child on his Bud Light Gig, doing fantasy makeup on 6 lovely promotional models from around the US Mardis Gras week.

Trina Merry assisted Stephanie Dulvant by running a face and bodypaint booth at the historic Royal Sonesta Hotel on Bourbon Street.  She painted over 200 people, her favorite being four senior ladies who had a "calendar girls" moment & decided to let loose & bare all for the love of friendship & their husbands.  Everyone cheered as they ran out of the bodypaint booth & onto Bourbon Street collected beads and smiles from their loving husbands. 

 

Trina Merry was invited to travel to Los Angeles with RAW Hairstylist of the Year Jaymz Marez and bodypaint two models (the always lovely Elizabeth Moody and Ryann Hilairey) for a special stage presentation at the Graumann's Chinese Theater.  The models were so well received they were asked to go on stage to perform with RAW Artist Band of the Year"Black Party Politics" .  You can see the models & an article written on the event HERE and see the band performance with the bodypaint models HERE.
