“Blue Boy to Man” is composed of images from Africa
of a ceremony of initiation of a boy to manhood. The boy is painted blue as
part of the ceremony. The images of the boy painted blue are fused on an LP
record, thread emanating from the center. Different
colors of thread & record labels create the record of the Blue Boy to Man.
All materials are recycled including the frame.
