WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF TWISTED CLAY™

My name is Tinnette and I am a multi talented person who happens to be in love with the medium of polymer clay. I started working in polymer clay about 17 years ago and I am still amazed at what I can do with it. I have taken the normal clay techniques and put a "twist" to them to create my own original textures. My work has been described as afro-centric, urban, elegant, contemporary, and funky. It is in essence "what you see in it , it is." It is art created for the individual.

 Natural things are my inspiration, textures are my passion, layers are a must in most of my pieces, one on a kind art is my pride.  I believe that art is an expression of the soul created because you just cannot say it. For me there are so many ideals in my head that I do something for awhile then I am inspired by something else, so no work of art will ever be duplicated. That is my reputation and it makes others happy to have one of a kind, original art that no other person has or will ever have.

I have done work in fashion, painting, tattooing and crafts and have recently returned to mixed media and I am thankful for the inspiration of the other artist all around me be them songwriters, poets, painters or sculptures.
