A collection of Summer Classics consisting of three 12" x 4" French acrylic paintings on stretched gallery wrap canvases designed to be displayed together.
DOUBLE DIP ON THE BEACH
A real dream date at the shore. Two scoops of frozen bliss on a crisp cone standing in the afternoon sun against a dynamic swirling sky. Life is good. Life is really good with ice cream.
This classic summer day at the beach is painted in acrylics on a stretched 12 x 4 inch gallery wrap canvas, and then coated with multiple layers of acrylic varnishes to make sure this Summer treat lasts forever.
CORN DOG AT THE BOARDWALK
It's not a complete summer without the yearly Corn Dog at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. Nothing like 'em. Even if you don't eat them, it's fun to watch others try. From the ocean breeze blowing the napkins away to dealing with the sudden gush of mustard from those push down dispensers, it can be quite amusing.
Painted as part of my "Dangerous Cuisine" Series, this mouth-watering 12 by 4 inch acrylic is on 8 ounce gallery wrap canvas, and sealed with multiple coats of varnish to keep it delicious for many summers to come.
POPSICLE AT THE BEACH
Waves of heat cross the sand, you bake and almost can't take anymore, then suddenly an image crosses your mind and you remember the life-saving properties of the Popsicle®. A mirage too delicious and too icy for words.
This monument to one of the icons of summer, shows the twin towers of refreshment perched in the sand by the shore, against a magnificent cerulean blue sky.
Painted in acrylics on a stretched 4 by 12 inch gallery wrap canvas, and protected with acrylic varnishes. Signed on the bottom panel by the artist, a former Good Humor® man.
