DAUNTLESS DACHSHUND DRIVES THE DESERT

What do dogs dream about? In this Doxie's Dream, he's dashing down a deserted desert dirt road determined to meet up with his pals for a little afternoon rabbit and badger racing.

Sure, it was a little hard to hotwire the roadster, not to mention learning that shift pattern, but Dachshunds, if nothing else, are determined. They won't like to take "No" for an answer under most circumstances. And it is a dream.

Painted in "Doggy-Vision©" by local artguy Vern Scharf, using finest acrylics over a stretched 4 x 4 inch gallery wrap canvas, and then coated multiple times with acrylic varnishes, to last at least 700 doggy years.
