THE SANDWICH THAT BUILT AMERICA

The bologna sandwich, building block of a great nation. When I was growing up, they were everywhere, you couldn't swing a Thermos around without  hitting one.

My Dad thought maybe I had a few too many, commenting on my sense of humor, and he might just be right, you are, after all, what you eat. 

This Ode to America's Sandwich is painted in finest acrylics over a 5 by 7 inch gallery wrap canvas, and sealed with several coats of acrylic varnish to protect the flavor, and make it pretty much mustard-proof.
