|  | | Sipping the Fire Weed | | | | Northwest Photography; Fireweed is the first plant to grow after a forest fire or after an area has been logged. It's found along the roads here in the summertime and sometimes fields can be covered with pure dense stands of this species and the landscape is turned into fields of color.
