Working on the new painting!
Working on the new painting! 2/29/08

Just want to share with you about how to paint with lacquer. First, I draw out line. Then I cut out the board where I want to put the egg shells. As in lacquer paintings, can not get white colour. The eggg shells represent white colour. Then I put silver leaves in desired places, lacquer mix with dyes. I will put many layers of colour. The photo that you see now is 2 weeks of  work. As when you work with natural lacquer is take 3 days to let lacquer dry, before you can apply second layer. So in one paitnings at least I apply from 6 layers up. To finish one paintings it will take from 2 months up.
