| As far as I can remember when someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I've always answered an artist. I attended the high school of music and art in New York where I had the best time studying art in an environment filled with creativity. Later as I grew older and more practical, I went into software engineering instead. In recent years, trying to find a work life balance and relief from daily stress, I've decided to pursue my passion again. After studying at the Art Students League of Denver under Mitch Caster for over two years, I created this web site to share my journey.
As a teen I traveled all over the country working in state fairs during the summer. On my breaks I've always hung around the portrait artists as they drew visitors using charcoals and pastels. Since then, I've always had the passion to draw people. It is a simple subject yet infinitely complex in forms and colors. The ability to capture the essence of human beauty and spirit, is a lifetime of study.
