The Trabant was the most common East German car. It later came to symbolize the failed aspects of former East Germany and of the fall of communism. The car's retro look and strong color grabbed my attention in this Hungarian border town mostly known for a 25-day long holdout of 1,000 Hungarians against 100,000 Turks.
Köszeg, Hungary (2009).
